Our Team

Brad is a founding partner and President of M-Team Solutions, responsible for recruiting, business development, human resources, and financial operations. Prior to his current role, Brad spent 30 years building and leading sales and recruiting teams in the engineering, manufacturing, IT, and business operations fields.

Brad spent the first ten years of his career at one of the largest staffing companies in the world, where he progressed to become one of the top producers. He worked 14 years at an engineering staffing & recruiting startup as a Recruiter, Sales Executive, and Division Vice President. Brad then spent 18 months in IT and SaaS sales consulting before accepting the position of Vice President of Business Development at Magnum Consulting, a sister company to M-Team Solutions.  In addition to his responsibilities with M-Team, Mr. Smiles also manages new business development at Magnum Consulting, a conveyor, tooling, material handling, and structural steel engineering and design consulting company.

Mr. Smiles received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Management from Albion College where he played four years of varsity football and was twice selected All-Conference; Brad also received a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Oakland University.

Brad and his wife Patty live in Oxford, Michigan, with their two daughters, Abby and Becca. Brad enjoys golfing, weightlifting, reading non-fiction books, travel, and family genealogy research.

Sean Flinn is a founding partner of M-Team Solutions and the current owner of Magnum Consulting. As a business owner, Sean is well-versed in the skill requirements needed by M-Teams customers and matching candidates to fill those requirements. Sean’s business experience is invaluable to M-team solutions and their customers.

Sean has 35+ years of manufacturing engineering experience and attended the Lawrence Institute of Technology. Through years of dedication and hard work, Sean moved from draftsman to project engineer to a business owner in 2003. Sean prides himself in being a working owner who still spends countless time at production facilities across North America, overseeing construction activities for customers. Cumulatively, these experiences give Sean an unparalleled view of the engineering and manufacturing industry for M-Team Solutions.

Sean has always enjoyed turning ideas into reality for his customers through detailed system design and layout development. Sean knows he will do the same for M-Team customers by providing them with the best team members for their goals.

Sean and Angie, his wife of 31 years, live in Hartland, Michigan. In his free time, Sean enjoys time boating, RVing, and watching hockey and football games.

Working within a dual role as Marketing Manager and Technical Recruiter at M-Team Solutions, Bryce Watts deploys marketing campaigns that drive qualified candidates to apply to our client’s open positions. Watts is also responsible for recruiting, recruitment marketing, communications, business development, graphic design, branding, and website development.

Soon after graduating with a B.B.A. in Marketing and high honors from the University of Michigan-Flint, Bryce began working full-time at the Genesee Intermediate School District as a Marketing and Video Specialist. During his time at GISD, Bryce received multiple awards for his video work, including the 41st Annual Telly Awards’ Silver Award in their General—Non-Broadcast division and Genesee County Education Foundation’s Everyday Hero Award.

Watts has also worked as Magnum Consulting’s Business Development and Marketing Specialist since March 2019. When joining the team, Bryce was tasked with increasing Magnum Consulting’s social media presence, creating consistency within branding, and rebuilding 4magnum.com from the ground up. Bryce implemented SEO tactics, increasing user flows to the company’s contact, projects, and careers sections.

Bryce lives in Davison, Michigan, with his wife Kaelee, and dog Kessel. Outside of work, Bryce loves working out at the Davison Athletic Club, playing volleyball with his wife, and researching all things blockchain-related.

Curtis Flinn is a founding partner of M-Team Solutions and brings his technical knowledge, candidate screening expertise, and professional network from Magnum Consulting. As a Principal Engineer at Magnum Consulting, Curtis is responsible for overseeing a variety of complex engineering projects, managing our engineering team, and working with our customers.

Curtis earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Flint and received his state Professional Engineering (P.E.) license. Curtis has always had a passion for solving complex problems and enjoys using this passion in the engineering field.

Curtis and his wife, Krista, live in Hartland, Michigan. In his free time, Curtis enjoys spending time outdoors and watching hockey with his family. As both a lifelong fan and an alumnus, Curtis is an avid University of Michigan fan. Go Blue!

Kerry Johnson is an accomplished professional with substantial experience in sales and recruitment. With a career spanning 15 years, Kerry has honed her skills and developed a passion for helping individuals discover their dream careers while making a meaningful impact. Kerry’s journey in sales and recruitment has been nothing short of impressive. Starting independently, she has grown to lead entire regions, with a notable achievement of winning top sales in the Midwest in 2011 before stepping into a managerial role.

Kerry brings a unique approach to recruitment, ensuring candidates not only find suitable opportunities but also feel genuinely understood and valued throughout the process. Her commitment extends beyond the hiring process, as she actively collaborates with hiring managers and leadership to streamline operations, enhance clarity, and drive efficiency, always with an unwavering focus on achieving outstanding results.

Kerry has been happily married to her husband, Dean, for an impressive 25 years and is the proud mother of three children—Michael, Corey, and Olivia. Her family has expanded with two delightful granddaughters, adding even more joy to her life. Kerry shares her home with three rescue dogs—Roxie, Moby, and Tucker. Her dedication to saving dogs in shelters reflects her compassionate nature and commitment to making a difference beyond the professional realm.

Over the past 12 years, Kerry has also been a driving force behind the success of “80’s Party For A Purpose,” an annual charity event supporting Burn Camp for Kids, Families of Service Men and Women, and Families of Children with Autism, as well as many other programs and initiatives. Through this event, this team of dedicated family and friends has raised over $220,000!
